A Community Project by the Lions Club of Fleet
When we were contacted by the Lions Club of Fleet to supply and deliver a 18’ Jackleg unit to a site in Church Crookham, and we discovered what the unit would be used for, we were delighted to be part of a fantastic community project.
The Club take donations of a whole range of computer equipment including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, keyboards and mice, speakers, network cables and hard drives (collection available) and once the equipment is wiped of any previous data and thoroughly cleaned, it is reloaded with Windows 10 Pro, a range of software and finally, fully tested. The equipment is then delivered to local families with children who do not have access to such provisions, to ensure they can continue their studies in this challenging time. With many children having to study from home due to Covid-19, its essential that their education can continue as smoothly as possible.
For more information or if you have any spare equipment that you no longer require, please visit www.fleetlions.org.uk or email it@fleetlions.org.uk
